Proof!

Now that Daddy's back in town we made another trip out to the bridge on the Greenway.   I was able to remember the camera and actually take pictures this time.  Here's the proof she's riding her bike and loving it!

2nd Bridge!

Well, nothing like taking full advantage of a beautiful day.  I decided to take the girls out on the Greenway this afternoon (by myself ) and I so wish I would have had my camera with me!  Sydney Cate decided she wanted to ride her bike (with training wheels of course) and she probably rode a total of 2 miles!  The 1 mile mark is about where the 2nd bridge is on the Greenway.  The last time we took her bike out there, she didn't even want to get on it.  She rode really slow on the way out.  She was kind of afraid. But on the way back, she was cooking.  She was having so much fun. I was so proud of her and excited at the same time. The really funny thing is, she sang almost the entire way.  You name it, she sung it.  And loud too.  Mulberry Bush, Wheels on the Bus.  She even made up her own song called Up and Down.  It was amazing the laughs and comments from the passersby.  Needless to say, a lot of people were unexpectedly entertained today.  During all the action, Cali is enjoying a "quiet" ride in the stroller.  Definitely one of those "I wish I could freeze time" moments.  Note to self...bring camera next time! 

DANCE! DANCE! DANCE!

It has been MONTHS since I have posted on the blog!  What a bad mommy!  We finally got the video converted from the sugar plum's first ever dance recital!  She was obviously the best dancer on stage.  Amazing that she was not afraid...was all business...Mommy did you see me?  It was so much fun for her.  It was only just a few months earlier that she asked if she could dance and if she could get a tutu!  Love that girl!  Just an added note...sorry for the horrible video!  First time to use a real recorder and I had a hard time figuring out where the right buttons were in the dark and where the dancer was!!!

Snow White Practice

Sydney Cate had her first full practice for her dance show on Saturday.  I was so surprised how she knew exactly what to do and when to do it.  AND with a room full of people!  She was totally in her element.  She is a pixie in Snow White and as you see her dance around, you will see Snow White in the mirror reflection.   We love her dance studio and she has had so much fun since she started.  Such a sweet dancer!!!

Sydney Cate is 3!!!

Well, I never thought it would happen, but it did.  God brought sweet Sydney Cate into our lives.  I had never experienced love like that before and I am so grateful for it.  She has brought so much happiness into our lives.  We merged both girls parties just to make it easier on family and some friends.  But hopefully, Sydney Cate still felt special.  Looked like she did anyway!

Cali is 1!!

It is so hard to believe that 1 year has passed since precious Cali came into our lives.  I will not forget the day she was born.  She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen.  And she still is!  She is our sweet thing!  She loved the feel of the cake but wasn't really sure about taking a big bite.  Although she did try!  There were so many people there and she might have had a little stage fright.  She still had so much fun!  How I love my special girl!

Dancing Machine!

Sydney Cate's first experience with dance lessons.  Most of the time was spend watching and observing but several times she did rock along!  She looked like she was having fun!  Her friend Kennedy is in the black.  Oh...and mommy came late with her dance outfit.  Thank goodness other kids were there in regular clothes too!
